Licensed Clinical Social Worker

The primary commitments of my services are to provide counseling, guidance or advocacy to each client and support their spiritual, mental, emotional, and behavioral well-being. I enjoy hearing each individuals story and tailoring my approach to their needs. I have many tools in my toolbox to help you build yours. As the expert on your own life, sometimes needing to be equipped with the right tool is all you need to improve a situation.
One of my favorite tools involves FOUR colors. You will be surprised how learning the meaning of these colors can create change in so many areas of your life. Today help has no boundaries. I am available to meet by phone or video call. I look forward to hearing from you.
I enjoy allowing people to lead their own therapy sessions, offering suggestions based on strong research and using techniques that tend to work very well. My strengths are in assisting with areas impacting individuals, couples, and families such as depression, anxiety, trauma, anger, and loss of closeness. I also offer sound financial and budget counseling.
Since beginning my first clinical experience I have truly enjoyed providing mental health therapy to those with various concerns: depression, anxiety, stress, social, occupational and educational difficulties, family issues, chronic pain and/or physical health concerns. My experience includes providing mental health therapy, assessment and consultation to children, adolescents, and adults with varying levels of severity in numerous settings. My theoretical approach is an integration of cognitive-behavioral and solution focused. I take a holistic approach to treatment, using the biopsychosocial treatment method. I work collaboratively with clients to understand their worldview and underlying concerns, and will provide a safe, supportive environment where, through treatment, they can understand the underlying patterns of their suffering, learn to empower themselves, strengthen their decision-making abilities, and take a step in improving their current situation. I am an active facilitator in treatment, and I will provide direct feedback and insights. Please contact me for a free initial consultation!

My mission, philosophy, and approach to treatment are to bring hope and healing to clients in a holistic and multifaceted milieu and to enhance their physical, emotional, and spiritual health. At an early age, human beings develop a fundamental disposition to the world-positive and trusting toward responsive caregivers, or anxious and fearful toward unresponsive caregivers. A healthy environment breeds healthy interactions from healthy individuals. Functioning fully is not a natural state for human beings, it must be taught and mastered; and the most fundamental requirement of the whole person is self-understanding.
